This document explains how to access Electude from your Blackboard Learn learning platform and how to add Electude content to a Blackboard Learn course. For information about setting up the LTI integration, see the LTI Blackboard Learn Admin guide.
1. Access Electude
If the steps provided in the administrator guide were followed, you can directly access the Electude learning platform from your Blackboard Learn environment as a teacher. Follow the steps below to access the direct link to Electude in the course management menu.
Log in to Blackboard Learn, locate your course and then navigate to Course Tools on the Course Management menu.

Locate your Electude Direct Access link and click on it.

Here you have access to courses, modules and student data. To learn more about navigating to courses and modules, or creating your own courses and modules, click on the ? on the top right corner in the Electude screen.
Note: The Electude link is your Electude course builder link and is not visible to students.
2. Add Electude content to your Blackboard Learn course
It is possible to add entire Electude courses or specific modules to Blackboard Learn.
2.1 Add Electude courses to your Blackboard Learn course
Navigate to your Blackboard course and make sure Edit Mode is switched on.

Navigate to the Content tab in your course navigation menu in Blackboard.

Click on the Build Content tab and select Electude Deep Link.

Electude will open in the Blackboard Learn window. Click on the Courses tab in Electude.

Navigate to the course you would like to add to Blackboard Learn. Then click Select as LTI tool.

Your Electude course is now 'deep linked' into your Blackboard Learn course.

2.2 Add Electude modules to your Blackboard Learn course
If you want to add separate modules instead of a course to Blackboard Learn, follow the same steps as described in section 2.1. When Electude opens in Blackboard Learn, navigate to the Modules tab in Electude.

Search for or navigate to the module you would like to add to Blackboard Learn via the menu on the left hand side.

Click on the Select as LTI tool button. The Electude module will be added to your Blackboard Learn course.

Note:
If you select ‘Select as LTI tool’ a column in the gradebook will be created on notification of a student result.
If you select ‘Select as LTI tool with line item’, a gradebook column for this module will be created immediately. In combination with the enabled Electude site administrator setting 'Do not create line item automatically, only send grades for existing line items’, this option also allows you to determine for which modules student results are or are not passed on to Blackboard.
